Naturopathy works with the body's own healing processes through diet, supplements, and lifestyle — alongside conventional medical care, not instead of it.
Naturopathic medicine works with the body's own restorative processes through diet, supplements, herbal remedies, lifestyle medicine, and individualised care plans. At Dental & Wellness London naturopathic consultation is delivered by Nicoletta Peloni — mGNC member, mANP member, trained at the London College of Naturopathic Medicine. Initial consultation £75 with a free 20-minute initial chat available.

For the full picture, including how this compares with the alternatives, see our guide to nutritional therapy.
| Detailed Case History (40-50 minutes) | Comprehensive intake covering current concerns, medical history, family patterns, dietary patterns and history, lifestyle factors (sleep, movement, stress, work), supplement and medication use, and emotional or psychological context. This is more thorough than a typical medical appointment and is the foundation of the individualised plan. |
| Clinical Assessment (10-15 minutes) | Where relevant — pulse, observational assessment, sometimes nutritional functional testing referral (these are clinical tools, not diagnostic substitutes). |
| Discussion and Plan (25-35 minutes) | Nicoletta explains what she's observed and the plan that fits your specific picture. The plan includes concrete dietary recommendations, supplement protocols where appropriate, lifestyle adjustments, and any referrals (back to GP for medical investigation, to other DWL practitioners for related work, or to specialists where appropriate). |
| Coordination (5 minutes) | Where the work intersects with other DWL services, planning the integration — often with Reena for Ayurvedic-naturopathic overlap, with Laura-Maria for somatic-nervous-system overlap, or with dental for oral microbiome and inflammation overlap. |
| Follow-up Review (20 minutes, £35) | For follow-up after the initial — typically 4-6 weeks in to review progress, adjust the protocol, and refine. Some patients only need one review; others continue with monthly or seasonal reviews. A longer 45-minute follow-up is £75; the initial consultation plus one 45-minute follow-up is £150. |
| Three-Appointment Programme (£175, best value) | Initial consultation (90 minutes) followed by two 45-minute appointments to optimise your nutrition and agree a strategy — designed for patients who want sustained guidance through a defined recovery period. Booked separately this would be £225, so the programme saves £50. |
Prices are set out below. Your written plan confirms the fee before any treatment begins.

Naturopathy is broader — includes diet, supplements, herbs, lifestyle medicine, and case management for the whole body system. Nutrition is more focused — primarily diet and supplement work. Nicoletta is trained in both, so consultations can lean in either direction depending on your needs.
The UK doesn't have statutory regulation for naturopathy. Voluntary professional registration through the General Naturopathic Council (GNC) and Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) provides accountability and standards. Nicoletta is registered with both.
No. Medication decisions are made by your GP or consultant. Some patients find sustained naturopathic and lifestyle work reduces the dose of certain medications over time (under medical supervision), but this is a medical decision, not a naturopathic one.
That's the right pathway — and naturopathic care typically works alongside. At consultation, Nicoletta reviews your current medical care, identifies where naturopathic work could complement it, and flags anything she's not the right practitioner for.
No. Nicoletta's practice aims for minimum effective intervention. The dietary work is usually the foundation; supplements are added where specific need is identified, not as a default upsell.
Both are integrative care systems with overlapping principles. Ayurveda is a specific traditional Indian medical system with its own theoretical model; naturopathy is a broader Western framework. At DWL, Reena offers Ayurvedic care and Nicoletta offers naturopathic care.
If you're interested in naturopathic care — for digestive function, energy patterns, hormonal transitions, postnatal recovery, inflammatory conditions, pre-conception support, or integrative health alongside dental work — the right starting point is an initial consultation with Nicoletta Peloni. Free 20-minute initial chat is offered for patients deciding whether naturopathic care fits their needs. The chat covers your goals, what consultation involves, and whether the initial 90-minute consultation is the right next step. Initial naturopathic consultation £75 (90 minutes), free 20-minute initial chat available. Call 020 8127 4567 or WhatsApp +44 7974 910222. Appointments Monday-Friday 8am-7pm (Tuesday from 9am) by appointment. For coordinated naturopathic + Ayurvedic + dental care, mention this at booking and we'll plan the practitioner sequence.
