For the fork in the road, the promotion you keep circling, or the role that no longer fits — and why we hold the work alongside the body, not separate from it.
Career coaching in London is a structured, goal-focused service that helps you make a career decision, prepare for promotion, or navigate change such as redundancy. Sessions typically cost £90–£300, last 50–60 minutes, and run as a programme of six to twelve. Choose a coach accredited by the ICF, EMCC or AC.

All career coaching metrics are priced transparently and tailored to the specific decision window.

If you are still weighing up your options, our overview of wellness coaching brings them together in one place. If confidence is what is holding you back, confidence coaching may be a closer fit.
| Start with what's actually true | Before any decision, the work is to separate the story you're telling yourself about your career from what is genuinely the case — what you want, what you fear, what you've outgrown, and what you've simply got used to. |
| Name the real blocker | Most career stalls are not skill gaps. They are visibility, self-presentation, an unspoken fear of the next level, or a value quietly being violated. Naming it precisely is most of the work. |
| Build the decision, don't borrow it | A coach helps you reach your own call rather than handing you theirs — because you commit far more deeply to a decision you found yourself, which matters enormously when the decision is your livelihood. |
| Make it concrete | Every session closes with one or two specific, repeatable actions. Change in a career compounds through small committed steps, not single dramatic leaps. |
Prices are set out below. Your written plan confirms the fee before any treatment begins.

Most engagements run six to twelve sessions across three to six months. Six is usually enough for a single focused decision. Twelve suits a broader reset, like changing field or rebuilding after redundancy.
A recruiter is paid by employers to fill roles, so their incentive is placing you, not necessarily placing you well. A career coach works only for you, and brings no stake in any particular outcome. The two can run in parallel.
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people come. The early work is often about steadying yourself enough to think clearly before any strategy makes sense. If the redundancy has tipped into something heavier, we'd ask you to see your GP first.
Most UK private health insurance does not cover career coaching, as it is classed as professional development rather than medical treatment. Some workplace wellbeing or outplacement programmes include coaching.
No — and that is by design. A good coach asks sharper questions than they answer, so that the decision is genuinely yours. A coach who keeps telling you what to do has quietly slipped into consulting.
