The honest version of what an executive coach can and can't do — and the part the industry tends to leave out.
Executive coaching is structured one-to-one development for senior leaders, focused on performance under pressure, leadership effectiveness, and complex decision-making. London executive coaches typically charge £250–£500+ an hour, across engagements of six to twelve sessions over three to nine months. Choose for recognised accreditation, genuine corporate context, and a track record at the right seniority.

Coaching pays back hardest during real transitions and pressure points — not as a general-purpose upgrade, and reputable coaches say so.

This page is part of our wider guide to wellness coaching, which sets out every option we offer side by side.
| Discovery Conversation — 30–45 mins, free | A mutual fit check where either party can decide it isn't right. The first step to assess if coaching is appropriate. |
| Tripartite Agreement — between coach, coachee, sponsor (if employer-funded) | Sets the confidentiality boundary and success measures up front, so the sponsor stays informed without ever seeing session content. |
| Intake Session — approx. 90 minutes | Maps the current situation, the leadership context, and goals. May draw on 360 feedback if available. |
| Regular Sessions — 60–90 minutes, fortnightly or monthly | Each session opens with progress, works the most important live question, and closes with specific commitments. The core of the engagement. |
| Midpoint Review — around session 4 or 5 | Recalibrates goals and adjusts the approach based on progress so far. Ensures the engagement stays on track. |
| Closing Session — final session | Consolidates what changed and plans for sustainability. Lays out how to maintain progress after coaching ends. |
| Follow-up — 3–6 months after closing | A check-in to catch any drift and reinforce lasting change. Optional but recommended. |
Prices are set out below. Your written plan confirms the fee before any treatment begins.

Executive coaching focuses on leadership performance, organisational dynamics and senior decision-making; life coaching addresses personal direction, relationships and habits. For senior leadership work specifically, a coach with genuine corporate context typically outperforms a generalist.
Often, yes. Most established organisations fund executive coaching through L&D or development budgets, and the conversation usually runs through an HR partner or line manager. Self-funding is common during transitions.
Yes, with limited exceptions. The relationship is professionally confidential. In employer-funded work a tripartite agreement defines what's shared and what isn't. Coaches retain a duty to act where there is a risk of serious harm or a safeguarding obligation.
It depends which burnout. For functional fatigue from sustained over-functioning, coaching helps with boundaries, delegation and recovery strategy. For clinical-level burnout, see your GP first. Coaching can help after a clinical assessment, not as a substitute for one.
Typically six to twelve sessions over three to nine months. A single sharp goal can complete in four to six; longer developmental work runs a year or two at lower frequency.
We offer an integrated performance-and-resilience coaching frame, held alongside the clinic's wellness and dental care. We refer out for board-level corporate coaching, public-company directorship work, and any clinical mental-health need.
