"Wellness coach" is an unregulated title. Here is how to read credentials — and what accredited coaching looks like inside an integrative clinic.
A wellness coach helps you change the habits, relationships, and working patterns that shape your health — distinct from therapy, which treats mental-health conditions. At Dental & Wellness London in Islington, wellness coaching is anchored by Binta Patel, an ICF ACC accredited Life and Relationship Coach, within a wider integrative team. Free 20-minute discovery call.

ICF accreditation is the filter that separates a credentialed coach from a title alone — check it before anything else.

Related: psychotherapy, nutritional therapy.
| Free 20-minute discovery call | Fit, goals, and the honest question of whether coaching is the right tool. If it isn't, we say so and point you to what is. |
| Structured sessions | Typically fortnightly to monthly, each with agreed focus and actions between sessions. Coaching that doesn't generate movement between sessions isn't working. |
| Review against goals | Progress is measured against what you said you wanted, at agreed intervals. If nothing is moving, the approach changes — or the engagement ends. |
Prices are set out below. Your written plan confirms the fee before any treatment begins.

Structured support for behaviour change: clarifying goals, designing realistic habit architecture, working through the relationship and work patterns that hold the old behaviour in place, and providing accountability with review points. The discipline is in the structure, not the pep talks.
In practice, mostly framing — "wellness" emphasises health-adjacent goals (energy, stress, sleep, sustainable routines), "life" the broader picture. Binta's practice spans both; the discovery call defines scope around your goals rather than a label.
Yes — ICF-credentialed coaches are bound by a code of ethics that includes confidentiality, with the standard safeguarding limits any professional carries.
Honest answer: it depends on the goal, and a credible coach scopes this at the discovery call rather than selling a fixed bundle upfront. Defined engagements with review points are the norm here, not indefinite retainers.
Coaching can support the habits and structures around mild, situational stress. Clinical anxiety and depression are therapy and GP territory — we'll say so at the discovery call and refer appropriately, including to trauma-informed somatic work within the clinic where that's the better fit.
Because DWL has been an integrative clinic since 2009 — coaching, nutrition, somatic work, Ayurveda, and dentistry under one roof. Coaching outcomes improve when the rest of the system is looked after by people who talk to each other.
Start with a free, no-obligation 20-minute discovery call with Binta — fit and scope first, fees in writing before any commitment. If coaching isn't the right tool for what you bring, we'll tell you at the call and point you to what is.
