We do not offer Morpheus8 at Dental & Wellness London.
Dental & Wellness London does not offer Morpheus8. For skin tightening and texture we offer laser skin tightening (from £195), microneedling (from £160) and Profhilo (£350, or £625 for two sessions), and ONDA (£300 per session) where stubborn fat is the concern. This is a clinical choice, not a safety claim about Morpheus8.

Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency microneedling device offered by many London clinics for skin tightening and texture. It is well established, and our decision not to offer it is not a safety claim. For the goals Morpheus8 is used for, we already offer treatments that give our patients predictable results, and we prefer to do those well.
If you have arrived here searching for Morpheus8 in London, you are probably thinking about one of a few concerns: skin that has started to soften along the jaw or neck, a dull or uneven texture, enlarged pores, or acne scarring. Those are the problems that matter, rather than the name of a particular device, and each of them can be approached in more than one way. This page explains what we offer at our Islington clinic instead, and how we decide which treatment fits.
Morpheus8 combines two ideas. Fine needles create tiny, controlled channels in the skin, as with conventional microneedling, and radiofrequency energy is delivered through those needles to heat the deeper layers. The aim is to prompt the skin to produce new collagen and to tighten over time. It is usually performed with numbing cream, and some redness, swelling and small marks for a few days afterwards are common.
That combination of needling and heat is one route to collagen stimulation. It is not the only one. Lasers, standard microneedling and injectable skin treatments all work on the same underlying goal, by different means and with different amounts of downtime.
Laser tightening uses gentle heat to stimulate collagen in the deeper layers of the skin, usually without breaking the surface. It suits early softening of the jawline, cheeks and neck, and skin that has lost some firmness. Most people return to normal activities straight away. Change builds gradually over a course of sessions, and results vary from person to person. If tone as well as firmness concerns you, see laser rejuvenation.
Microneedling creates fine, controlled channels in the skin to prompt its natural repair process. It is a good fit where texture is the main concern: enlarged pores, uneven surface, fine lines and acne scarring. Redness usually settles within a day or two. For many people whose interest in Morpheus8 is really about texture and scarring, microneedling addresses the same concern with less downtime. For gentler surface options, see HydraFacial vs microdermabrasion vs chemical peel.
Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment that spreads through the skin to improve hydration and the quality of skin that has started to look crepey or lose its spring. It is not a filler and does not change facial shape. Other skin boosters, from £250, including polynucleotides, work on skin quality in a similar way. As prescription treatments, they are given only after a consultation, and are prescribed and administered by Dr Vishal Patel.
Sometimes what looks like loose skin under the jaw or on the body is partly stubborn fat. Where that is the case, ONDA, a microwave-based body contouring treatment, may be more useful than any skin-tightening device. Under the chin, fat dissolving injections with Aqualyx, from £350, are often the more precise option. If you are weighing cold-based fat reduction, see our CoolSculpting alternative page.
It depends on the problem. Loose skin, texture and fat each need a different approach, and many people benefit from a combination. We will assess your skin and tell you honestly which treatment will help. Our comparison of ONDA vs Morpheus8 sets the two approaches side by side. If Morpheus8 is specifically what you want, we are happy to suggest a reputable clinic.
A simple way to think about it:
These are general comparisons. The right choice depends on your skin, your priorities and how much downtime you can accept, and results vary.
Your consultation is with Dr Vishal Patel. We ask about your skin history, medication, previous treatments and what you would most like to change. We then look closely at your skin in good light: its thickness, laxity, texture and pigmentation, and how it moves with expression. With your consent, we take standardised photographs to compare progress fairly later.
From there we will explain which treatment, or combination, is likely to help, how many sessions to expect, any downtime, and the full cost. If nothing we offer is the right answer for you, we will say so. The skin and aesthetic consultation is £65, redeemable in full against treatment.
Non-surgical skin tightening and texture treatments work best for people with early to moderate changes who want a gradual, natural-looking improvement and are happy to commit to a course. They are less suitable where skin laxity is marked, where expectations are for a surgical-level change, or where a skin condition needs medical treatment first.
Most of these treatments are not given during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over active infection or inflamed skin, or, for laser treatments, soon after significant sun exposure. Some medical conditions and medicines also affect what is suitable. Where acne, rosacea or another skin condition needs medical management, we will suggest you see your GP or a dermatologist first.
Every skin treatment carries some risk. Laser treatments can occasionally cause temporary redness, swelling or changes in pigmentation, which is why we assess skin type carefully and adjust settings accordingly. Microneedling can cause redness and, rarely, infection, so we use a sterile technique and give clear aftercare. Injectable treatments can cause swelling and bruising, and are given only after a consultation, by a prescriber trained in facial anatomy. Daily sun protection is part of looking after your skin during and after any course.
